Where users and email administrators once dealt with a massive and inconsistently organized repository of email, they now have three clearly defined zones and are able to work in an organized set of “file cabinets.” End user involvement is minimal because users only need to classify emails that belong in the records or working zones (about 20%). Emails that are not classified either by The Email Manager or the user are relegated to the transient zone and are automatically deleted based on designated time quotas.
