Methodology

TEAM’s comprehensive implementation methodology is based on well known industry standards (Light version of the Rational Unified Process – RUP).  We apply past successes, experience, and best practice to ensure a formalized and consistent approach to client engagements.

Each phase is composed of a predefined set of objectives, tasks, and deliverables. TEAM’s implementation methodology effectively and efficiently guides project teams through the engagement.
  • Scoping. Defining goals and creating a plan, to ensure your project gets off on the right track.
  • Analysis and Design. We develop specific technical architecture and document business requirements. We then write a detailed project plan, so there is a clear understanding of how we will approach the solution.
  • Development. Detailed analysis & design will be used to guide your project team and to ensure delivery of a system that works specifically for your needs.
  • Testing. We don’t want you to worry about what lies around the corner. Our solutions are placed through a rigorous testing process. First, we make sure every piece that is developed is thoroughly tested by the developer to ensure that they meet design specifications. Second, we work with the client to ensure they have a comprehensive testing strategy and complimentary plan to complete system, integration, and performance testing. Third, we allocate time to resolve unforeseen interactions with the solutions we have crafted.
  • Deployment. We finalize product deliverables, ensuring everything is complete and expectations are met.
All of these phases are supported by our partner-endorsed team, a unified program and project management methodology, and a supporting data center that ensures a safe development environment while yours is built.  Our Managed Services team offers ongoing support of the solution as well.

It is important to note that while we have our own defined methodology, we also recognize the need to leverage our clients' methodologies as appropriate. Our approach has the flexibility to adjust to client-specific conditions while maintaining the appropriate controls needed (balancing control variables - scope, budget, schedule, & quality) to ensure successful project delivery.
