University of Waikato
The University of Waikato has a student population of about 13,000 of whom more than 4,800 complete a qualification annually. Today the University employs 2,000 academic and support staff, making a significant contribution to the local and national economy of New Zealand.
The University of Waikato needed to improve the management of its information through a central system that was easily accessible, secure and compliant with the New Zealand Public Records Act, 2005. The University chose Oracle WebCenter Records (formally known as Universal Records Management – URM) as the product solution and TEAM Informatics as the implementation partner. The initial phase consisted of implementing Oracle WebCenter Records (URM) to track the University’s physical records.
